Even though the settlement that grew around it, called Leith, was merged into Edinburgh in 1920, denizens of the area to this day proudly called themselves 'Leithers'.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eThe artwork\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eLeith's coat of arms was registered with the Lord Lyon in 1889.
